Exfoliation Yeah or Nay

One of the ways to make a skin glow is to peel off and shed away dead skin cells from our body.  You can have it done in a spa or in the comforts of your own bathroom.

Before I make use of a loofah with soap but according to studies, overtime it accumulates and loaded up with bacteria, so I stopped using it.

Instead of using loofah I bought exfoliating gloves, I love using it, for it gently exfoliates and massages away dryness, leaving skin smooth and invigorated. It is so easy to use, just slip on gloves and use with your favorite bath gel to lather up and massage, concentrating on the dry and rough areas of the body.

Recently, I won an Asian Secrets gift pack in an online contest. Six tubs of Lulur Indonesian Whitening body scrubs with Seaweed Extract and Vitamin E, Green Tea and Vitamin E and Licorice and Mulberry Leaf Extract. Paired with the body scrubs are 6 Bengkoang Indonesian Whitening Soap. I like the soft feel of my skin after using it. You can feel how the tiny beads work in stripping off the dead skin cells away from your body.  As per instructions, use it before bath while the skin is still dry, but I observed it still works well even if the body is already wet.

Exfoliation works wonders in sloughing off dead skin cells, yet too much exfoliating may do you more harm than good so never exfoliate daily, once a week scrub date is enough for a year round glow.
