Homemade Facial Mask for Blackheads and Oily Skin

Creating your own homemade recipe of a facial mask is cheaper and is as effective as the commercial brands as per experience. Using the natural ingredients can give you lots of savings from buying beauty products, aside from the fact that it is gentler and is less prone for skin irritation.

Avocado fruits are now in season, so take advantage to use it to beautify your skin too. Here is a recipe of how I make a facial mask for my oily skin.

The Avocado and egg-white Facial Mask

Ingredients:

egg white, one egg only

ripe avocado, half

lime or calamansi juice, 1 tablespoon

Procedure

Beat the egg white thoroughly; finely mash the ripe avocado. Blend all the ingredients together using a blender until it looks like a paste. Apply the mixture immediately on your face and let it stand for five minutes. Wash the skin with cool water afterwards.

To add more, having an oily skin is prone to blackheads and whiteheads too. Simply mix baking soda with water to make a thick paste, apply to the facial area where blackheads exist or you may gently massage the paste all over the face. Let it sit for ten minutes then rinse with cool water.

There you go two simple inexpensive facial masks made from your kitchen ingredients that will eliminate excess oils from your face.
