Hemorrhoids incidence mostly relates to the function of the colon, as there are many reasons and circumstances that spur hemorrhoids. These are swollen veins in the anus classified according to its type on where it occurs such as internal, external or prolapsed hemorrhoids.
Migraine is a very painful type of headache and its attacks are often recurrent. Studies have shown that it is three times more common in women than in men. The primary cause is still unknown yet symptoms are normally triggered and aggravated by routine activities such as anxiety, stress, lack of food or sleep, hormonal changes in women and light exposure.
I am one of the people who suffer from this unilateral headache. It usually attack before, during or after my menstrual cycle and when I am too much stressed out. The pain is only affecting the half of my head, it pulsates and throbs and usually last for days in my case. I usually vomit, can’t stand a bright light, queasy and most often can’t prolong standing or sitting so I lie down.
Regular analgesics are no longer effective in my case so our family doctor prescribed me a sumatriptan base medicine to relieve my migraine attacks. He strongly advised me that it should not used prophylactically but to take it only during the onset of the attack.
Me and my three sisters are all victims of this Migraine attacks. Was it in our genes? I do not know exactly the answer. As much as possible, lately I refrain from getting out of the house from 10 am till 3 pm where the sunlight is at its hottest or else I’ll be spending the next days inside our room 🙁
